Living in Switzerland is a privilege. But not everyone has that much luck, access or possibility as we do. I have been fortunate enough to meet people who feel the same need of supporting others in need, donate, educate, inspire and invest their personal time and money. There is always much more we can do of course.
The name "Welti/Wälti" originates from the municipality of Richterswil, an old family documented in the Zurich tax books of 1455 and 1461. This lineage later spread to Wädenswil and other communities in the Horgen district. Since 1513, a Welti family has also been recorded in Adliswil.
In the Adliswil municipal archive, a 1720 document with Johannes Welti's seal depicts a bird accompanied by two stars. In Wädenswil, a church pew from 1767 bears a Welti coat of arms featuring a swan on a three-hill emblem. These symbols indicate a shared origin.
A later coat of arms from Rudolf Wäldi in the Wädenswil church shows two green-stemmed, crossed roses—one red, one white. However, this is less recommended than the well-documented swan emblem.
The swan coat of arms was mistakenly adopted by a family naturalized in Zurzach in 1850 in the Jean Eglis coat of arms book (1860) and on the Zurich city coat of arms panel (1854), though it was already used by the Zurich Welti.
This historical origin of the name "Welti " underscores the deep roots and long history of the family in the Zurich region. The name "Welti " is a traditional and ancient name in Switzerland, reflecting a deep connection to Swiss history.

Grüezi! Bonjour! Ciao! Bun di!
Having been fortunate enough to travel extensively around the world, I am grateful for the countless memories and the people I have had the pleasure of meeting. It has fostered in me a deep appreciation for Switzerland and a strong desire to share its positivity. Hence, I have established a non-profit association called "Fantastic Switzerland" to showcase the incredible aspects of this country, allowing others to learn and comprehend why Switzerland is truly exceptional. During my visits to other nations, I often hear people express their dreams of Switzerland and praise it as a "fantastic" place. This inspired me to create "Fantastic Switzerland." I sincerely hope that you will find as much joy in it as I do.
Welcome to Switzerland, welcome to Fantastic Switzerland!

Bees are vital pollinators, ensuring the reproduction of plant species, including essential food crops. Their absence would harm biodiversity and the food chain.
Fantastic Switzerland Association is very proud supporter of the ApiTerra project to save the bees.

First honey from my bees!
The reward of receiving honey from my adopted bee family is incredible.
My friend has created ApiTerra CH, producing honey high up on the mountain, far away from pollution and industrial influence, starting a program to adopt a bee family for one year! Every year I get my own honey as a reward and doing something good for the #environment
Did you know bees pollinate over a third of the world's crops, including most fruits, vegetables, and nuts? These tiny yet powerful creatures are essential for our ecosystem, and their decline threatens food security and biodiversity.
Without bees, our food systems and ecosystems face disruption. Declining bee populations impact other species and endanger global food supplies.
Let’s take action now to protect these vital pollinators and ensure a healthy future for bees, our planet, and ourselves.
Our bee-family was so high up in the mountain, that with the recent drop of temperature, they had to be brought to a lower altitude. My friends did such a good job.
The bees had to go to their new home for winter...
The bees have now arrived to their winter home...

Living in Switzerland is a privilege by any aspect.
But not everyone has the much luck, access or possibility as we do in Switzerland. I have been fortunate enough to meet people who feel the same need of supporting others in need, donate, educate, inspire and invest their personal time
One of the most impressive moments when you do good to others and seeing their smile and joy.
Joining friends who organized a charity trip to Eastern Europe to support the ones in need.
Buying a car in Switzerland, loading the car with toys and clothes we collected in Switzerland to bring them to Orphan Houses in Eastern Europe
Switzerland is so wealthy and we often forget that there are so many others in need, especially children in orphanage in Eastern Europe are not lacking of money but also of clothes and toys.
Having visited several Orphan houses in Romania, Albania, Bulgaria and giving the children what we collected in Switzerland, having packed our cars with toys and clothes to support them with the basics.
Their joy to see our colourful cars arriving all the way from Switzerland just to see them and spending time with them giving attention and realizing that they need so much more.
The orphanages have limited funding to take care of the abandoned children, needing money for food, clothing, education and healthcare. Having seen the how much impact this little action had was one of the most rewarding moments in life. At the end of the trip, we all have sold our cars locally, donated the proceeds to one orphanage so they could afford a small bus for transportation
